The launch comes just eight months after its global unveiling in August 2024, underscoring Lamborghini’s commitment to the Indian market. Lamborghini Temerario powertrain The Temerario is powered by a twin-turbo 4.0-litre V8 engine paired with three electric motors, making it Lamborghini’s first plug-in hybrid supercar. The V8 alone produces 800 hp and 730 Nm of torque, with a redline of 10,000 rpm. Combined with the electric motors, the supercar delivers a staggering 920 hp and 800 Nm of torque. This powertrain enables the Temerario to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and achieve a top speed of 343 km/h. The hybrid system is supported by a compact 3.8 kWh battery, which can be fully charged in 30 minutes using a 7 kW AC charger. The battery also benefits from regenerative braking and can be charged directly by the V8 engine, ensuring efficiency without compromising performance. Lamborghini Temerario design and features Design-wise, the Temerario retains Lamborghini’s signature styling while incorporating modern aerodynamic enhancements. The shark-nose front end, lower-lip spoiler, and hexagon-shaped LED DRLs pay homage to the Huracan, while the roofline and side panels feature sharper lines for improved airflow. The rear design includes hexagonal tail lights, a centrally-mounted exhaust, and 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels, available in forged and carbon-fibre options. Inside, the Temerario’s cockpit is inspired by fighter jets, featuring a push start/stop button and physical controls on the steering wheel. The dashboard houses three screens: a 12.3-inch driver’s display, an 8.4-inch touchscreen in portrait orientation, and a 9.1-inch passenger display. The cabin also includes 18-way adjustable heated and ventilated seats, ensuring comfort alongside performance. Structurally, the Temerario boasts an aluminium spaceframe that improves torsional rigidity by 20% compared to the Huracan’s mixed-material chassis. Lamborghini also offers a track-focused Alleggerita package, which replaces several components with carbon fibre, reducing the car’s dry weight by 25 kg from its standard 1,715 kg. The Temerario is expected to be priced around INR 7 crore (ex-showroom), positioning it as a premium offering in the Indian supercar market.
