Key highlights 2025 Toyota Innova Electric showcased at the Indonesia International Motor Show Powered by a 59.3 kWh battery Gets more features and space than the Innova Crysta Toyota has revealed the electric version of the Innova internationally. Showcased at the Indonesia International Motor Show, the Innova Electric concept car features numerous changes from its diesel counterpart. Check all the details below. The electric Innova showcased at the Indonesian Motor Show is based on the Innova Crysta model. While the majority of the design is identical to the Crysta model, it does get the EV-specific highlights. These design cues include a closed front grille, blue highlights on the side profile to portray its efficient nature, and a new LED headlight setup. On the inside, it features a nearly identical design to the Crysta. However, the flat footboard is evident, all thanks to the battery and electric motor that has replaced the RWD powertrain of the ICE model. Moreover, it gets a bigger infotainment screen, a redesigned centre console, and a new speedometer layout. The concept model is equipped with a white leather interior theme and features like captain seats, a second-row AC unit, wireless phone connectivity, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, ambient lights, wireless charging, and more. Powering the Innova EV is a big 56.3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. This produces a peak power output of 179 bhp and a humongous 700 Nm of peak torque. However, Toyota has not revealed the electric motor details of the Innova EV concept model. While the car looks production-ready, Toyota has officially said that it will not manufacture it for now. Our verdict Toyota Innova's brand name has a stronghold in the South Asian car markets, including Indonesia and Malaysia. An electric Innova can become a huge success story in the future.
