Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched its latest electric scooter, the QC1, at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. Priced at INR 90,000 (ex-showroom), the QC1 is Honda's most affordable electric scooter in India. Honda QC1 - What does it get? The QC1 features a 1.5 kWh fixed battery pack that provides a range of 80 km on a single charge. It can be charged from 0 to 80% in 4 hours and 30 minutes, with a full charge taking 6 hours and 50 minutes. The scooter is powered by an in-wheel electric motor with a peak output of 1.8 kW, achieving a top speed of 50 km/h. The QC1 comes equipped with a 5.0-inch all-info LCD display, USB Type-C outlet, and 26 liters of under-seat storage. It offers two riding modes: Eco and Standard, catering to different riding preferences. Bookings for the QC1 are open in select cities, including Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chandigarh. Deliveries are expected to begin soon, with the scooter available in five colors: Pearl Serenity Blue, Pearl Misty White, Matt Foggy Silver Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, and Pearl Shallow Blue. Competition The QC1s primary rival is the Ola S1 X. The S1 X, priced at INR 89,189, provides a range of 95 km and a top speed of 85 km/h. The top-end S1 Pro, priced at INR 1,53,378, boasts a range of 195 km and a top speed of 120 km/h. All variants feature a 2 kWh to 4 kWh battery pack, digital instrument clusters, and USB Type-C outlets. The S1 Pro can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 2.6 seconds Conclusion The Honda QC1 is a practical and affordable electric scooter designed for urban commuting.
