Mini has unveiled its latest gem, the 2025 Mini Convertible. This new model promises to blend the iconic charm of the Mini brand with modern enhancements, making it a hot hatch to watch out for. A Fresh Look The 2025 Mini Convertible has undergone a significant facelift. The front end now features a new octagonal grille, flanked by redesigned LED headlights that offer three different light signatures. These updates give the car a more contemporary and aggressive look, while still retaining the classic Mini aesthetic. Performance and Power Under the hood, the new Mini Convertible offers two powertrain options. The base Cooper model is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering 161 horsepower and 250 nm of torque. For those seeking more power, the Cooper S variant boosts these figures to 201 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. This ensures a thrilling driving experience, whether you’re cruising through city streets or taking on winding country roads. Convertible Features One of the standout features of the new Mini Convertible is its fully automatic fabric soft top. This roof can be opened in just 18 seconds and closed in 15 seconds, even while driving at speeds up to 30 kmph. Additionally, the car includes a wind deflector between the seats to optimize airflow and reduce wind noise, enhancing the open-air driving experience. Interior and Technology Inside, the Mini Convertible boasts a host of modern technologies. The centerpiece is a new circular OLED touchscreen, which serves as the main interface for the car’s infotainment system. This screen is complemented by a voice assistant, making it easier to control various functions without taking your hands off the wheel. The interior also features new upholstery options, including sports seats with multi-colored knitted fabric and red stitching for the JCW trim. Practicality Despite its compact size, the Mini Convertible offers a surprising amount of practicality. With the roof down, the car provides 159 L of storage space, which increases to 214 L when the roof is up. The tailgate design, which folds down like a truck’s, adds to the car’s versatility.
