CBR650R

Honda wants their old CBR650F to get a little bit more aggressive, and hence, for 2019, this model has been replaced by a new CBR650R. Rather than replaced, this is more of an improvement and renaming. So the new bike gets more aggressive body style, engaging riding position and more power to justify the 'R' addition. The 2019 Honda CBR650R is lighter than before. The bike now sports a front fairing design similar in looks to the Fireblade and gets lower handlebar position which is 30mm forward resulting in a more engaging, forward-biased posture. This makes the bike sportier than before. Also, the footpegs have been moved back by 3mm and higher by 6mm. So overall, the CBR650R has a more sporty riding style than the old CBR650F. The bike also now gets a split seat, although it is not really a stepped difference. The 648.72cc, 4-cylinder motor now revvs 1000 RPM more than before and has resulted in 5% additional peak power. The engine which is liquid-cooled now produces 98 BHP @ 12000 RPM. The headlamp is a twin-pot LED setup with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, midship exhaust, USD front forks, etc.
