Before the current financial year concludes, the Tata Harrier EV will be introduced in India. Although their precise debut dates are still unknown, the Sierra EV is expected to be released in the upcoming financial year. The Sierra's internal combustion engine (ICE) version is anticipated to make its debut soon after the electric version. Tata Harrier EV: At the 2023 Auto Expo, the Harrier EV had its conceptual premiere. At the 2024 Bharat Mobility Global Expo, the near-production version was unveiled. Both single and dual electric motor variants will be available for the Harrier EV, which will increase its off-road capability with a 4WD system. The Harrier EV's specifications are still unknown, but it is anticipated to have a 60 kWh battery and two electric motors. It will provide a range of approximately 500 km on a full charge. It will also have V2L (vehicle-to-load) and V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) charging capabilities. It will have a slightly different design and styling from its ICE counterpart, and a number of cabin upgrades tailored specifically for EVs. Tata Sierra EV and ICE: The Tata Sierra ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) and EV variants are expected to be on sale in 2025. With a potential range of about 500 kilometres between charges, the electric Sierra will probably be the first to hit the market. It will come in single-motor and dual-motor configurations. Additionally, an All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system can be an option. Tata's brand-new 1.5L Hyperion turbocharged petrol engine and a 2.0L diesel engine will power the ICE version of the Sierra. While keeping recognisable features from the previous model, such as the wide back glass area, curved rear windows, and blacked-out C and D pillars, the all-new Sierra will use Tata's most recent design language. The ICE version will be based on the ATLAS architecture, while the Sierra EV, which is built on the Acti.ev platform, will share its foundation with other Tata EVs.
