This achievement underscores the Carens' popularity among Indian families seeking a spacious, feature-rich, and versatile vehicle. Kia Carens sales breakup The Kia Carens has been a standout in its segment, offering a blend of practicality and premium features. The 7-seater variant has been the most popular, accounting for 95% of total sales. Buyers have also shown a strong preference for petrol variants, which make up 58% of the sales, while diesel variants contribute 42%. Additionally, 32% of customers opted for automatic and iMT (clutchless manual) transmissions, highlighting the growing demand for convenience-oriented options. Versatile engine options The Carens is available with three engine choices: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. These options cater to a wide range of customer preferences, balancing performance and efficiency. The MPV also offers multiple transmission options, including a 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT, 7-speed DCT, and 6-speed automatic.
