For January 2023, Suzuki Motorcycle has reported its sales figures. The total sales for the Indian market stood at 84,966 units. Of this, the domestic market accounted for 66,209 units. Meanwhile, the remaining 18,757 units were for the international market thus counted as exports. The total YoY growth for these figures stood at 21.47 percent.
The company further confirmed that the total volume growth was arlt 14,874 units. This is up from sales of 70,092 units in Jan 2022. For your reference, the sales figure for January 2022 was at domestic sales at 60,623 units, and exports at 9,469 units.
The Year-over-Year domestic sales growth stood at 9.18 percent. The total sales volume stood at 5,586 units. Meanwhile the Year-over-Year growth in exports was at 98.03. The volume growth of 9,288 units was reported. In January 2023, the domestic sales accounted for 78.23 percent of total sales. For exports, it made up the remainder 21.77 percent.
Suzuki also reported significant Year-over-Year increase in total sales and exports, with a 21.47 percent and 98.03 percent growth, respectively. These figures are a great indicator of the strong growth in the company’s performance. The trend is the same for both the domestic market and international market.
Suzuki Motorcycle India recently announced the launch of the 2023 update of its Gixxer Series. In addition to this, the company has also rolled out fresh colour options on the smaller Gixxer bikes.
The new Gixxer SF 250 is now available in Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, Metallic Matte Black (No.2) and Metallic Sonic Silver/ Metallic Triton Blue. Moreover, the naked version of the motorcycle – Gixxer 250 is also available for purchase in Metallic Matte Stellar Blue and Metallic Matte Black (No.2).
Customers can get the smaller Gixxer series for purchase in Metallic Sonic Silver/ Pearl Blaze Orange, Metallic Triton Blue and Glass Sparkle Black options.
