Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has introduced a new colour option on the popular Access 125 scooter. The dual-tone shade of Pearl Shining Beige / Pearl Mirage White will be available to customers opting for the Special Edition Disc Brake version as well as the Ride Connect Edition Disc Brake with Alloy Wheel variant. This new colour option will be available from 4 August 2023 onwards.
Coming to the price, the Access 125 Special Edition is priced at INR 85,300 while the Access 125 Ride Connect will cost owners INR 90,000. Both prices ex-showroom Delhi.
The Access 125 was first launched in 2007. It has the unique distinction of being the pioneer of the 125cc scooter segment. Recently, the Japanese bike maker rolled out the 5 millionth Access 125 scooter from the company’s Kherki Dhaula plant. The plant is located in Gurugram, Haryana.
The Access 125 is pretty popular with those who prefer the looks and its peppy engine. Over the years, Suzuki has kept updating the Access with more features and options and today the scooter commands quite a following.
Some of the features on the popular scooter include an external fuel lid, LED headlight and a USB socket. Meanwhile the Access 125 Ride Connect Edition comes with a Bluetooth-enabled digital console. It lets you sync your mobile phone for various features. The Ride Connect comes with turn-by-turn navigation, incoming call, SMS and WhatsApp alerts, Speed Exceeding Alert, Phone Battery Level Display and more. The Access 125 Ride Connect Edition also comes with LED Position Lights.
The Access 125 is powered by a 124cc air-cooled single-cylinder 4-stroke motor. It gets 2-valve SOHC valvetrain. The engine also features Suzuki Eco Performance Technology to boost power delivery as well as fuel efficiency. The engine puts out 8.7 PS of power at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The Suzuki Access 125 rides on 12-inch at the front and 10-inch at the rear with cast or alloy wheels and is also available with a front disc brake.
