Suzuki is killing the Hayabusa in the global markets till they get the new-generation model ready to hit the streets. However, in India, Suzuki has just announced the 2019 edition of this big bike. The 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa has been launched in India at a price tag of INR 13.74 lakh (ex-showroom).
Made its mark as the Dhoom (bollywood movie) bike, the Hayabusa is quite an iconic motorcycle in India. Everybody knows the Suzuki Hayabusa to be a fast, high powered motorcycle. The 2019 Hayabusa will be available in Grey or Black colour options with new body graphics and an added side reflector. No other change on the motorcycle for 2019.
Powered by a 1,340cc, liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder, DOHC motor, the Suzuki Hayabusa produces 197 BHP of power @ 9500 RPM and 115 Nm of torque @ 7200 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox. With ideal aerodynamics, the Hayabusa offers fantastic wind protection and helps achieve speeds well over 200 kmph easily.
The Hayabusa is now an old motorcycle. Still, it remains relevant in markets worldwide. The Hayabusa is also the highest selling Big Bike for Suzuki in India after the CKD assembly began.
