Suzuki Avenis Ride Review

Towards the end of 2021, Suzuki Motorcycle India PVT LTD (SMIPL) launched a new motorscooter in the Indian market. The scooter features futuristic styling that will appeal to the young generation clientele. The scooter does not only bring a progressive design but is also offered with quirky colours as well as a sporty MotoGP livery. The Suzuki Avenis also comes with the latest features in terms of the electronics as well as the mechanical features. Suzuki Avenis – Price and Colours

The Suzuki Avenis comes with three trims. The standard variant comes with a starting price tag of INR 86,500 ex-showroom. The Avenis with Ride Connect Edition comes with a price tag of INR 88,000 ex-showroom. The Avenis Race Edition INR 88,300 ex-showroom. All prices are ex-showroom Delhi. The scooter is available in four colour options in standard and Ride Edition – Green, Orange, White and Black. The Race Edition Avenis comes with a special Metallic Triton Blue colour drawing inspiration from the Suzuki MotoGP team livery. 

Suzuki Avenis – Technical Specifications

Powering the Suzuki Avenis is a 125cc single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke engine. The engine is capable of producing 8.6 Hp of power and 10 Nm of torque. The motor is paired to a CVT automatic gearbox that offers a balanced combination of performance and efficiency. The brand claims that the Avenis has good amounts of initial torque required for intracity travel. The Suzuki Avenis comes with a telescopic suspension on the front and a single shock-absorber on a swingarm rear. The scooter comes with a 1,265 mm wheelbase, 160 mm of ground clearance and 780 mm of seat height. The scooter tips the scales at 106 kg at the kerb. 

Suzuki Avenis – Top Features

The Suzuki Avenis comes with features such as a full-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth integration via Suzuki Ride Connect app. The bluetooth connectivity unlocks features such as call & sms notifications, turn by turn navigation, etc. The Avenis also comes with LED headlamps and tail lamps, sporty graphics, exhaust cover in black, alloy wheels, dual tone seats, USB charging point in a covered glove compartment and spacious under-seat storage.
