Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has launched a doorstep sales and after-sales service channel called ‘Suzuki at your Doorstep’ to meet customer requirements during and post lockdown relaxation. The new platform has been integrated with the brand’s official website which enables customers to buy, test-ride and opt for after-sales services from the safety, comfort and convenience of their homes.
The brand has also introduced a toll-free number through which customers can book Suzuki two-wheelers with the option of connecting the call to a dealership nearest to the customer in case the customer wants to visit the dealership. The contactless purchase process has been simplified and has only five steps which include – Booking of desired Suzuki product, followed by the colour selection of the chosen vehicle, selecting the location and the available dealership, choosing the payment mode and finally choosing the date and time of delivery.
Customers can book their desired vehicles by paying a booking fee online and making the rest of the payment at the time of delivery. The brand has options of various digital payment gateways and the brand also encourages digital invoice shared with the customer and the respective dealership as part of the government prescribed preventive measure. The brand also sanitises all the test ride vehicles thoroughly to ensure customer and staff safety.
Suzuki is providing doorstep assistance to fix minor faults or for regular servicing excluding washing along with doorstep vehicle pick up and drop within 5 km radius of the dealership. Customers can also visit the dealerships with prior appointment to ensure social distancing.
Suzuki at your Doorstep’ program will also be offering online financing on online purchase of any vehicle in the near future.

The brand has also announced that more than 50% of Suzuki dealerships have resumed operations across the country by complying with Government guidelines and the brand will start dispatch of the Suzuki Gixxer 250 series motorcycles in the coming weeks with deliveries scheduled to commence from mid-June.
