STUDDS Cub D4 Décor helmet launched at INR 1,175

Studds Accessories Ltd., the world largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer in terms of volumes sold in a year has launched a new helmet named ‘Cub D4 Decor Helmet’.

The aerodynamically shaped helmet is priced at INR 1175. Studds has provided soft inner paddings with good quality fabric with the aim of maximising the comfort for the rider. To counter the growth of allergies and infections due to excessive sweat and wetness during the rainy season, Studds has provided a hypoallergenic lining as well. The helmet features air vents that help in maintaining good air circulation, especially during the summer season.

The Studds also boasts that the Cub D4 Decor helmet is intended to provide an aerodynamic edge to the rider. In addition to this, the helmet also comes with features such as a higher impact outer shell, UV resistant paint, mirror-finished visor, regulated density EPS which provides all-round head protection along with dynamic ventilation system with vents on the top and back that help wick the moisture from the head area, a quick-release visor for easy swaps and a chin strap.

Studds is offering the Cub D4 Decor is available in 6 different colours – Pink, Red, Matt Blue, Matt Red, Matt Gun Grey and Matt Neon Yellow. The new helmet features a UV resistant coating which protects the paint of the helmet in the long run and gives a very subtle finish. The helmet will come in three basic sizes- Medium (570MM), Large(580MM) and Extra Large(600MM) so that riders of various head size and shapes can find the best fit.

Studds helmet company also markets SMK helmets which is a sub-brand of Studds. The company has its presence around 40 plus countries across the globe. In the recent past, Studds set up Asia’s largest helmet manufacturing plant in Faridabad, Haryana which is located in an area a large as 5.5 acres. The new helmet manufacturing unit was set up with an investment of INR 200 crores. As per a notification by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) which states that all the helmets which are sold in India should have the ISI mark from June 2021. This was issued to restrict the production of substandard helmets by local manufacturers.
