Isuzu D-MAX Regular Cab & S-CAB prices to go up by INR 10,000

Isuzu Motors India has announced its price hike for both of its model, the D-MAX Regular Cab and D-MAX S-CAB. The new price will be applicable from 01 January 2021.  The press release stated that the increase in the amount would be approximately INR 10,000/- from the current ex-showroom price. The reason mentioned for the price hike is the increasing input and distribution cost.

In the middle of October 2020, Isuzu launched the Bs6 compliant D-Max Regular Cab and D-Max S-Cab in the Indian market with prices starting at INR 7.84 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The entry-level variant is called the S-Max Cab Chassis, the mid-spec D-Max 1240kg is priced at INR 8.29 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai and the D-Max Super Strong 1710kg is priced at INR 8.39 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. The Isuzu D-Max in the ‘S-Cab’ iteration comes with a price tag of INR 9.82 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai and the D-Max S-Cab High-Ride is priced at INR 10.07 lakh ex-showroom, Mumbai. 

Recently the brand also announced a new ‘Winter Service Camp’ to provide awareness about the driving difficulties during the winter season and to keep the customer’s vehicle is top running conditions. The initiative started on 18th December and is scheduled to run till the 24th of December 2020. Under the initiative, Isuzu will provide a Comprehensive 50-Point check-up for the vehicle at no cost to the customer along with other benefits such as discounts on parts and labour. 

Isuzu was established in the Indian market back in August 2012, the brand in India, Isuzu Motors India Private Limited (IMI), is a subsidiary of the Japanese commercial vehicle and engine manufacturer ISUZU Motors Limited. The company headquarter for the Indian market is located in Chennai and currently offers the ISUZU D-MAX V-Cross, ISUZU mu-X, ISUZU D-MAX pick-ups – S-CAB and Regular Cab, for the commercial segment. The Tokyo-based brand has its production plant spread over 107 acres of land, in the integrated business city, Sri City in Andhra Pradesh. Isuzu is also adding up more and more service and dealer networks especially in the 2nd tier cities in order to cater to a larger audience.

Currently, Isuzu has its service centres in all major cities which include – Delhi, Gurugram, Noida, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bhuj, Vadodara, Anantapur, Bhimavaram, Coimbatore, Mangalore, Madurai, Guwahati, Gorakhpur, Dimapur, Siliguri, Indore, Jalandhar, Jodhpur, Rajkot, Kochi, Trivandrum, Kurnool, Lucknow, Ludhiana,  Mehsana, Mohali, Nagpur, Tirupati, Nellore, Rajahmundry, Raipur, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam.
