Stryder has announced a new e-bike. The wholly owned subsidiary of Tata International has launched a new variant of the Zeeta range named as Zeeta Plus. This e-bike is priced from INR 32,995. However, for a limited time, interested buyers can acquire the Zeeta Plus at an attractive price of INR 26,995 on the company website.
The company aims to sell the Zeeta Plus to those individuals who are looking for reliable and economical transportation. Not to mention, this is environmentally friendly as well.
The Zeeta Plus comes with a 36V technology. The battery capacity is 6 Ah and the total energy capacity is 216 Wh. Compared to the Zeeta, the Plus variant has a larger battery that enables a comfortable ride across all terrains. Further, the bigger battery allows riders to use the e-bike for longer distances.
The top speed of the Zeeta Plus is 25 km/h and when used with pedal assist feature, the e-bike can do 30 km of a full charge. The battery can be charged in 3-4 hours. The e-bike‘s running cost is claimed to be 10 paise/km, making it an affordable alternative transport option.
In terms of features, the bike gets auto-cut brakes along with disc brakes on both ends to offer enhanced rider safety.
Stryder makes electric and regular cycles in a wider range of categories. These include Alloy bikes, MTB, SLR and kids. The company also makes biking accessories. The company has over 4000 retail outlets pan India.
Apart from its Indian operations, the company exports to other overseas markets. Key International regions for the bike maker include SAARC, Africa and Middle East. The company was established back in 2009 as part of a mission to offer bicycles to the World Bicycle Relief (Africa). Prior to 2009, Stryder was a part of the Tata International.
