Previously, helmet companies used unisex helmets and added some decals that made it look like a ladies helmet but, Steelbird claims that this is the first time that a helmet company is designing a helmet shell, especially for women.

On the inside, the soft fabric gives it a very comfortable fit even on long rides. Steelbird mentions that this helmet is compliant with both ISI standards and European standards. A recent notification issued by the MoRTH (Ministry of Roadways Transport and Highways) states the ban on the sale of non-ISI compliant helmets in the Indian market. This notification was very much required as currently the Indian market is flooded with fake or non-ISI compliant helmets which cost come at a cheap price and thus citizens opt for these. But, these helmets are of no use as they are of very poor quality and do not provide any substantial protection in case of any mishaps.
