Steelbird launches SBH-26 BELLA ladies helmet at INR 1,149

Steelbird has announced that it is going to launch a new range of helmets exclusively designed for ladies. Steelbird claims that this range of helmets, named as SBH-BELLA will be the first time that a helmet is specifically designed to suit the ladies. Because until now, manufacturers used to make unisex helmets with special decals and sold them as ladies helmets.

Steelbirds say that they have added aesthetic touches like the air vents have an embroidery design so that Ladies could match them with their sarees. In fact, the shape of the air vents is inspired by a flower which makes the helmet look urbane and elegant. Furthermore, Steelbird has emphasized a lot on the shape and fit of the helmet to differentiate from the unisex ones. Steelbird says that this helmet will give a positive impression of the rider and the ladies would love wearing these. The lightweight and soft fabric make it easy to carry, meanwhile, the soft fabric on the inside give comfortable long rides.

Helmets are a must, be it a male rider or a female, long rides or just errands and Steelbird makes it very clear that the proper fitment is an integral part in the proper functioning of the helmet in case of accidents. Thus, it confirmed that the helmets will be offered with various size options; 520mm (XXS), 540mm (XS), 560mm (S), 580mm (M) and 600mm. (L) so that customers can find the best fit.

Steelbird has given this helmet a very robust build added with a striking design to appeal to a lot more women across various age groups. This new range of helmets will start from a price of INR 1149/- (MRP) and will come in a range of colour options such as red, white, blue, purple, pink, magenta etc. These helmets are built after extensive R&D in Italy and are certified by both ISI standard and European standard.

Steelbird is an Indian helmet manufacturer and the largest helmet maker in Asia. As per a notification by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) which states that helmets which are sold in India should mandatorily have the ISI mark from June 2021. This was issued to curb the production of substandard helmets by local manufacturers.
