The first-ever Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 kicked off on Feb 1 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, with a host of exhibitors from the mobility sector displaying their latest products and innovations. Among them, Škoda & Volkswagen India Private Limited (SAVWIPL) made a strong impression with its range of cutting-edge ICE and EV models from five VW Group brands – Volkswagen, Škoda, Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini.
The highlight of the Škoda Auto Volkswagen India pavilion was the debut of the Skoda Enyaq iV, the brand’s first all-electric SUV in India. The Enyaq iV is based on the VW Group’s MEB platform, which is designed for electric mobility. The Enyaq iV comes with a 77 kWh battery and dual motors that produce 265 hp and offer a range of 513 km (WLTP). The Enyaq iV also supports 125 kW DC fast charging and boasts a spacious and luxurious interior.
Another attraction at the pavilion was the Lamborghini Revuelto, the hybrid supercar that combines a 6.5-litre V12 engine with three electric motors to deliver a whopping 1,015 hp. The Revuelto can sprint from 0-100 kph in 2.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 325 kph. The Revuelto is already sold out until 2026, and bookings are on hold.
The pavilion also featured the latest models from Volkswagen, Audi, and Porsche, such as the Volkswagen Virtus GT, the Audi Q4 e-tron, and the Porsche Taycan. These models showcase the VW Group’s expertise in ICE and electric mobility, as well as design, safety, and performance.
