Skoda is planning to upgrade the Slavia facelift in the Indian market. The brand is currently testing the Skoda Slavia in India as the test mule of the car has been spotted near Pune. The updated Slavia is likely to come with a number of tech features including ADAS as well as minor tweaks to its front and rear fascia to differentiate the new sedan from the current one.
Spyshots reveal that not much has changed on the Skoda Slavia facelift. The silhouette of the vehicle appears the same and the car still features the same coupe styling. However, reports reveal that the rear end of the Slavia is likely to come with changes to it. However, it is not confirmed yet what changes the brand is likely to make to the rear end. But we believe that the Skoda Slavia facelift is likely to come with minor changes to the bumper design and reworked tail lamp signatures.
It is also possible that Skoda will offer a reworked headlamp, new fog lights, a new grille and some new cuts and crease lines on the bonnet of the facelift Slavia. In addition to this, the front bumper is also likely to be reworked to accommodate the radar sensor for the ADAS that is likely to be offered with the facelift sedan. Talking about ADAS, Skoda is likely to offer Level2 ADAS suite with the new Slavia. In addition to this, the sedan is also likely to come with 360-degree camera enhancing the safety and convenience.
Under the hood, things are likely to remain unchanged. The Skoda Slavia is likely to come with the same 1.0-litre petrol and a 1.5-litre petrol engine options. The TSI petrol 1.0-litre engine produces 114 Bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque and comes paired to a six-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox options. In addition to this, Skoda also offers the Slavia with a 1.5-litre TSI petrol engine options that develops 148 Bhp of power and 250 Nm of torque matched to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
