Skoda reveals Kushaq Explorer Edition Concept

Skoda today revealed the Kushaq Explorer Edition concept in Mumbai. However, the brand has not announced if the Kushaq Explorer will make it to the showrooms. The Kushaq Explorer gets a new paint theme with knobby tyres and off-road spec accessories. However, the SUV remains mechanically unchanged.

What is the Skoda Kushaq Explorer?

The Skoda Kushaq Explorer comes with a Matte Green paint theme which resonates with the jungle adventure theme it is built upon. Furthermore, the SUV also gets an orange accents on the front and rear bumper, grille, spoiler and its sides. The Kushaq Explorer also comes with an orange tow hook on the front as well as the rear.

In addition to this, the Skoda Kushaq Explorer comes with roof rails, roof rack and a roof mounted LED lightbar. The Explorer edition also gets 215/65 R16 Ultra Mile 4×4 A/T Bull all-terrain tyres rated for Mud and Snow. The chunky tyres also add to the visual character of the Kushaq Explorer.

The interior of the Kushaq Explorer also comes with a matte green theme that reverberates with the exteriors. The theme also includes black with red contrast seats. Additional features include a new 360 camera, Heads-Up Display, front parking sensors, rear sunshades and an air purifier. Other than that, the Kushaq Explorer carries over the equipment from the Style trim. This includes the 10.25-touchscreen infotainment system, digital instruments cluster, sunroof, ventilated seats etc.

Skoda Kushaq Explorer – Specifications

The Kushaq Explorer is likely to remain mechanically unchanged. However, the brand could have made minor changes to the suspension for a better ground clearance. But, powering the Kushaq Explorer is the same 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine. The four-cylinder engine produces 150 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The SUV also comes with a 1.0-litre engine option and both manual and automatic transmissions.
