Skoda opens first dealership in Puducherry, expands before Kushaq launch

Skoda Auto India preparations for the launch of its new SUV, Kushaq is in full swing. Recently, the Czech Automaker announced the launch of a new dealership in the union territory of Puducherry. This is the first-ever Skoda outlet in that area which will look into adding more customers to its brand name. Under the ‘India 2.0’ initiative, Skoda Auto India is making significant changes to its way of operation which will help to generate more sales. Skoda Auto plans to double its touchpoints and expand to 50 new cities over the next three years.

Puducherry Showroom in Details

The new Skoda showroom under the dealership name, KUN Motors will try to boost sales, especially in the South India region. The dealership located in a prime location at RS.No.57/5A, Plot no 3, Pondicherry to Cuddalore NH /ECR Road, Junction of Manavely Road, Ariyankuppam, Puducherry – 605007 offers all the sales and services related to Skoda Auto India. The dealership spread over 3000 sq. feet can display up to 4 cars at a time, which is optimal given the number of new launches by Skoda Auto India which are on the cards. Skoda Auto India claims that the showroom boasts of the latest corporate identity and design language of the Skoda brand. The workshop’s location at No 148/50, ECR Road, Kottupalayam, Next to Amuthasurabi Petrol Bunk, Lawspet, Puducherry, 605008 has a total area of 11,000 sq. feet and 06 bay area, which makes it capable enough to service close to 800 cars per month. The worship equipped with all the latest infrastructure and equipment approved by ŠKODA standards will make sure to provide the best-in-class service experience to its customers.

Skoda Auto’s Future In India

The company is in full preparation mood with the launch of Kushaq coming close. Kushaq, built on the new MQB-A0-IN platform is Skoda’s answer to take on the current-popular, SUV segment in India led by the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, HG Hector and more. Currently, only two models are on sale in India, namely Rapid and Superb. There are rumours that the next generation launches of Rapid are in the plans for the future.
