Skoda has launched the Octavia Onyx version in India at prices starting from INR 19.99 lakh ex-showroom, and the car is now available across all Skoda showrooms in India. The Onyx edition will be sold in white paint along with 2 new shades of blue and red. This is a limited edition model and will be available in petrol as well as diesel engine options, only with the DSG gearbox. The Octavia Onyx 1.8 TSI DSG petrol costs INR 19,99,599 while the Octavia Onyx 2.0L TDI DSG diesel costs INR 21,99,599.
The 2019 Skoda Onyx comes with all-black design highlights, chrome accents around front grille, quadra headlamps with LED DRLs, carbon black door foils, 16″ Premia alloy wheels in black, ORVM case in black, LED tail lamps, gloss black spoiler, black leather seats, interior chrome accents, 3-spoke SuperSport steering wheel with flat-bottom design, paddle-shifts, perforated leather for steering wheel, 12-way electric adjustment for front seats along with memory function for driver seat, 20.32cm touchscreen infotainment, dual-zone climate control, humidity sensor for the AC, 590L of boot spacem cooled front glove box, etc.
Powering the Octavia Onyx petrol is a 1.8L, 4-cylinder motor coupled to a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox which produces 180 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque with a fuel economy of 15.1 kmpl. This petrol engine allows the car to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 7.7 seconds and has a top whack of 233 kmph. the Octavia Onyx diesel has a 2.0L, TDI, 4-cylinder motor with a 7-speed DSG automatic which produces 143 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque while delivering 19.5 kmpl mileage. This diesel motor allows for 0-100 kmph timing of 9.2 seconds and a top whack of 213 kmph.
