Skoda has launched two new variants of the popular Kushaq SUV and the Slavia sedan. The Kushaq Onyx Plus is available in manual transmission at INR 1,59,000 while the Slavia Ambition Plus is priced from INR 12,49,000-13,79,000. All prices ex-showroom. Both of these are available with attractive pricing, new exchange benefits and corporate plans for a limited period.
Details about the new variants
The Skoda Kushaw Onyx Plus comes with new 16-inch wheels – Grus alloys along with a chrome window garnish. It comes with chrome on the front grille as well as the trunk. The Czech carmaker is offering the 1.0-litre TSI engine with this variant. It will be paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. Colour options include Candy White and Carbon Steel.
Meanwhile the Skoda Slavia Ambition Plus too comes with chrome elements. These include the front grille, lower door edges and the trunk garnish. Skoda is also providing a dashcam and customers can choose a colour from the existing range. Coming to the engine and gearbox, the Slavia Ambition Plus comes with the 1.0-litre TSI along with a choice of manual or automatic transmission.
Skoda’s MQB-A0-IN platform : More Details
Both the Slavia and the Kushaq are based on Skoda’s made for India MQB-A0-IN platform. This comes under the India 1.0 project of Skoda-Volkswagen. Thanks to this, Skoda has had its largest year in 2022.
Both these aforementioned cars are 5-star rated by GNCAP for adults as well as children.
With this, Skoda’s entire line-up consists of 5-star rated models including the Kodiaq, Kushaq and Slavia.
Skoda’s exchange carnival
Skoda had launched an Exchange Carnival for the month of August 2023. As part of the event, the Czech carmaker was offering a host of deals and discounts to customers. Further, there were multiple maintenance and warranty packages as well to make the ownership of a new Skoda vehicle even more joyous.
