Hyundai has launched the new Venue and Venue N Line in India. The compact SUV now comes with Hyundai’s SmartSense ADAS suite along with a new engine as well. Prices for the updated Venue start from INR 10.32 lakh. The move comes close on the heels of the launch of the new Honda Elevate, which gets ADAS suite as well. With this mode, Hyundai now offers five models in its line-up with ADAS features including Ioniq 5, Tucson, Verna, Venue and Venue N Line.
What’s new in the 2023 Hyundai Venue?
For starters, the compact SUV now offered the ADAS suite. This includes features like forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance, lane departure warning, lane assist and driver attention warning. The Venue also gets high beam assist and leading vehicle departure alert as well.
The ADAS suite is offered in the top end SX (O) variants with prices starting from INR 12.44 lakh.
Powertrain details of the new Hyundai Venue
Hyundai has also introduced a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine for the Venue. This means, the Venue line-up gets a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 1.5-litre diesel and this new 1.0-litre turbo petrol. Gearbox options across the range include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT.
The 1.0-litre unit develops 120 PS and 172 Nm and is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DCT. The same is offered with the N Line.
