Hyundai launches Venue Knight Edition in India at INR 9.99 lakh

Hyundai has launched the Venue Knight Edition in India. This closely follows up on the recently launched Adventure Edition of the Creta and Alcazar SUVs. The price for the Venue Knight Edition starts from INR 9.99 lakh and goes all the way up to INR 13.48 lakh.

What’s new in the Hyundai Venue Knight Edition?

The new Venue now comes in the Knight Edition guise with a range of exterior and interior enhancements. According to Hyundai, there are 23 new features on the Venue Knight Edition that sets it apart from the other cars.

On the outside, the car gets black front grill and blacked-out Hyundai logo. The front and rear bumpers get brass inserts. The same brass colour is found on alloy wheel inserts and roof rails. At the back, both the Hyundai and Venue emblems are finished in dark chrome. These cars also get the Knight Edition badging on the outside.

Other changes include red brake callipers, black finished alloys or wheel covers, black skid plates at both ends, and body coloured door handles.

On the inside, the Knight Edition comes with an all-black theme. The car comes with black seat upholstery and brass inserts and highlights. Hyundai has also equipped the car with dual dash cam, sporty metal pedals, auto day/night IRVM, and 3D designer mats.

Powertrain of the Venue Knight Edition

The Powertrain options on the compact SUV remain unchanged. These include a 1.2-litre petrol engine and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol. The 1.2L unit is offered with S(O) and SX variants with a manual transmission. Meanwhile, the 1.0L petrol engine is offered with SX(O) trim with both manual and automatic options.
