Skoda Auto has introduced cheaper ‘Corporate Edition’ of their Superb sedan and Kodiaq SUV. Both these models in the ‘Corporate Edition’ come with a DSG automatic gearbox. The Kodiaq ‘Corporate Edition’ comes only in a diesel engine avatar and is priced at INR 32.99 lakh. The Superb ‘Corporate Edition’ costs INR 25.99 lakh for the 1.8L TSi petrol and INR 28.49 lakh for the 2.0L TDi diesel variant.
Both the models come with LED DRLs, LED tail lamps, alloy wheels, chrome accents on the front grille, ‘Corporate Edition’ branding, 3-zone climate control, sunroof, leather upholstery, electric adjustment for driver seat, Amundsen infotainment system with 20.32cm touchscreen display backed by SmartLink, MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. Both cars also get BossConnect and Skoda Media Command App.
For the Kodiaq ‘Corporate Edition’, under the hood you get a 2.0L, TDI diesel engine with 4×4 producing 150 PS of power and 340 Nm of torque matched to a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The engine claims 16.25 kmpl of fuel efficiency and sprints from 0-100 kmph in 10 seconds with a top speed of 194 kmph. Thw AWD system on the Kodiaq has a multi-plate clutch which makes the ‘Corporate Edition’ also very versatile on broken terrain.
The Superb ‘Corporate Edition’ in the petrol avatar has a 1.8L TSI engine producing 180 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. The diesel motor is a 2.0L TDI motor pumping 177 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. Skoda claims a fuel efficiency of 14.81 kmpl and 18.66 kmpl for the petrol and diesel engines respectively with a top whack of 230 kmph and 226 kmph for each of the variants respectively.
Safety has not been compromised as both the Superb and Kodiaq ‘Corporate Edition’ comes with multiple airbags, stability control, traction control, multi-collision brakes, rear view camera, parking sensors, EBD, ASR, HBA, ABS, and also offers the convenience of hands-free parking.
Skoda is also offering the Shield Plus 6-year ownership package on both the Superb and Kodiaq ‘Corporate Edition’ models.
