Skoda could be planning to update the Kushaq SUV in our market. The brand has been selling the Kushaq for about three years now which means it about time that the brand gave the Kushaq a mid-life facelift. Thanks to the special edition models that kept the SUV alive and relative. However, as competition demands, it is imperative that Skoda work on a new update for the Kushaq. While reports suggest that the facelift Kushaq is likely to come with updated lights as well as equipment such as ADAS to keep up with the tightening safety norms, the SUV is likely to remain mechanically unchanged.
On the outside, the Skoda Kushaq is likely to feature connected LED lights and also come with LED headlamps. In addition to this, the tail lamps are also likely to come with connected light signatures. To accommodate the new light signatures, the radiator grille is also likely to have some changes in its design. Furthermore, the brand is also likely to offer new bumpers on both ends, as well as update the alloy wheel design.
On the inside, the Skoda Kushaq facelift is likely to come with new updates such as a new upholstery and interior trims. While the car already comes with a digital instruments cluster and touchscreen infotainment system, its suite is likely to be updated as well as come with added features such as 360-degree camera and ADAS. Also, rumours are that Skoda could offer the Kushaq facelift with a panoramic sunroof.
Powering the Kushaq facelift is likely to come with the same 1.0-litre TSI engine which pumps 115 Hp of power and 178 Nm of torque. Additionally, the SUV is also likely to come with a 1.5-litre TSI engine that develops 150 Hp of power and 250 Nm of torque. The brand is also likely to offer the Kushaq facelift with multiple gearbox options across the engine range including a 6-speed manual, 6-speed Automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
