If you are planning to buy the new Skoda Kodiaq facelift, you might have run out of luck. According to reports, the Skoda Kodiaq facelift has been sold out for the entire year. However, Skoda’s official website is still offering registrations for the test drive of the SUV. In the recent past, we also reported that the SUV was sold out for the next four months. The flagship SUV from Skoda was launched just last month in the Indian market in its facelift avatar. Skoda revealed that the Kodiaq facelift arrives on Indian soil via the completely knocked down (CKD) route. The brand assembles the Skoda Kodiaq at the Aurangabad production facility.
The Skoda Kodiaq was launched with a price tag of INR 34.99 lakh ex-showroom. The brand offers the SUV in three variants, Style, Sportline and Laurin & Klement. The launch price is for the entry-level Style variant. The mid-spec SportLine comes with a price tag of INR 35.99 lakh ex-showroom, and the top-of-the-line Laurin & Klement variant is priced INR 37.49 lakh ex-showroom, India.
Powering the Skoda Kodiaq facelift is a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Volkswagen Group’s TSI family. The engine produces 190 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. This allows the large SUV to sprint from 0-100 kmph in a claimed 7.8 seconds. The all-terrain SUV comes with Eco, Comfort, Normal, Sports, Snow and Individual driving modes. The SUV also comes with dual-shell, gas-liquid shock absorbers mated to an Electronic Control Unit. The Kodiaq SUV also claims to sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 7.8 seconds.
The Skoda Kodiaq facelift comes with features such as Power Nap Package with a blanket. The SUV also comes with a ticket-holder in the A-pillar, illuminated and cooled glovebox and Easy Grip mat. The motorcycle also comes with a 20.32-cm infotainment touchscreen with in-built navigations and Skoda CONNECT APP. The car also features wireless smartphone charging, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
