Skoda goes digital, new showroom initiatives

Skoda India extends its presence in the country with innovative approaches. The story of the carmaker in recent years has been all glory. Under the India 2.0 project, Skoda India has made some significant changes which are now reflected in terms of sales figures. Both the products, Kushaq and Slavia, under the new project have received an overwhelming response in the market. To further excite things, Skoda is adding valuable customer-centric services. Skoda mentioned that the India 2.0 is not just about cars but also involves enhancing the customer experience.

Digital Approach Is The Next Big Thing

Showrooms are the first place where the customers get to experience the cars in detail. Thus, to make an impact on the customers, showrooms are getting more and more innovative. Skoda India has made some big additions in this aspect. The new age Skoda showrooms now get interactive and immersive elements that make the experience memorable. There’s the presence of a touchscreen Digital Car Information Stand beside each car on the showroom floor. These replace the conventional static specification sheet on paper and deliver more information in a more detailed and interactive way. Customers can also scroll through features, specifications, variants and a comparison feature.

In addition to this, there’s also a 139.7 centimetres touchscreen Interactive Table in the customer lounge. With this, customers can virtually interact and immerse themselves in the car, with 360- degree interior and exterior views. They can, in fact, zoom and spin the virtual car to see the outlook from every angle. This is a great way for the customers to experience colour shades and trims that are not available physically in the showrooms.

All this, along with the modern design approach inside the showroom, adds up to deliver an astounding customer experience. There’s also the iConsultant App, wherein customers view various Skoda cars in different colours through various videos and feature modules using their smartphone. These digital options go a long way in proving the carmaker’s dedication to its customers.
