The new One S scooter has been designed on the Dot One model, featuring sharp design and more features. It is available in four colour options: Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.
While its design and outlook are largely identical to the Dot One, it features aggressive body graphics and black contrast bodywork for a distinctive appeal. It is equipped with the latest features, like a 7-inch TFT console, Bluetooth, navigation, geofencing, and more.
The One S also features four ride modes: Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic. It is powered by a 3.7 kWh battery pack, which is fixed and mated to an 8.5 kW electric motor. With the help of this setup, it can do 0-40 km/h in 2.5 seconds. The maximum IDC-claimed range for the One S is 181 km per charge.
In terms of hardware, it comes equipped with a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It also features alloy wheels, disc brakes, dual-channel ABS, and the Fall Safe technology from Simple. Additionally, it offers 35 litres of underseat space, which can accommodate a full-size helmet easily.
Simple Energy has stated that it will soon start the deliveries of the One S across 15 different cities nationwide.
While Simple Energy has introduced another scooter, it is worth noting that the company has been facing consistent criticism for its bogus sales for Dot One. Where the officials claim sales figures, it is yet hard to spot one scooter even in the tier-1 cities.
