Simple Energy had recently introduced the Simple Dot One for prebooked customers of the Simple One at a price of ₹99,990/-. This was a limited time introductory price which has now ended. Customers who have already booked the Simple One electric scooter can now avail the Simple Dot One at ₹1,39,990/-.
The pre-booking will open for all customers from January 27, 2024. However, customers who want to switch their booking from the Simple One to Simple Dot One can do so starting January 1, 2024.
Simple Dot One Details
The Simple Dot One is a lower variant of the Simple One electric scooter. The Simple Dot One comes with a single fixed 3.7 kW battery that boasts a range of 160 km on the IDC. It does not get the extended removable battery like the Simple One. Hence the reduced cost and range. The 8.5 kW motor produces a massive torque of 72 Nm. The claimed top speed on the Dot One is 2.77 sec for 0-40 kmph. It comes equipped with a 750 W charger as well.
Colours
The Simple Dot One will be available in four colors, Namma Red, Brazen Black, Grace White, and Azure
Blue. As a part of the introductory offering, the Dot One will also be offered in LightX and BrazenX color options which were introduced for the Simple One.
Deliveries will begin in Bengaluru first followed by other cities in a phased manner. However, the delivery timeline is not clear.
