Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 revealed in India, Bookings Open

After a hiatus of 2 years, Royal Enfield Rider Mania is back again. One of the key highlights of the 2022 edition in Goa was the unveiling of the all-new Super Meteor 650.

What Is The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650?

The Super Meteor 650 carries forward Royal Enfield’s heritage of amazing cruisers. The highway cruiser uses the much acclaimed 648cc twin platform. This has been rigorously tested and enjoyed worldwide recognition. The multi-award-winning Interceptor INT 650 and Continental GT 650 are a testimony of the same. The Super Meteor 650 gets the silhouette of a purebred cruiser with a low stance. The motorcycle gets a sumptuous seat with a narrow waist which combines to make munching miles a cakewalk.

Super Meteor 650 uses the same 648cc, twin-cylinder, oil-cooled engine. This engine does the duty in both Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The performance output of the motor reads as 47 PS of power @ 7250 RPM and 52.3 Nm of torque @ 5650 RPM. The equipped gearbox is a 6-speed unit.

Royal Enfield is using a new tubular steel chassis with a typical feet-forward cruiser riding posture. The low scalloped seat and pulled-back handlebar give a typical cruiser riding stance. The Super Meteor 650 uses 43mm USD front forks with 120mm of travel. Meanwhile, for the rear, we get twin shock absorbers that offer 101mm of travel.

Variants And Colour Options

The motorcycle will come with two distinct variants, the Super Meteor 650 and Super Meteor 650 Tourer. Customers will have seven striking colours to form. The Super Meteor 650 variant is available in five colourways. These are, namely, Astral Black, Astral Blue, Astral Green, Interstellar Grey and Interstellar Green. On the other hand, the Super Meteor 650 Tourer is available in two colourways. These are Celestial Red and Celestial Blue.

Pre-Bookings Now Open

Royal Enfield has announced pre-launch bookings for the Super Meteor 650 as open. As of now, it is exclusively available for those registered Rider Mania participants.
