Royal Enfield sold 82,097 motorcycles in September 2022

Royal Enfield continued its stellar sales performance. The two-wheeler manufacturer posted a total sales of 82,097 motorcycles in the month of September 2022. This comes in as against 33,529 motorcycles sold during the same month in the previous financial year. Thus, registering a growth of 145 per cent. During the given period, Royal Enfield exported 8,451 motorcycles. This when compared to the same period, the figure stood at 6,296 units. This marks a growth of 34 per cent.

The start of the festive season has helped Royal Enfield to boost its sales figure. Furthermore, the overwhelming spectacular response to the recently launched Hunter 350 also added to the engagements. The brand is happy to see more than 145 per cent growth in volumes for the month. Royal Enfield mentioned they are quite positive that the Hunter 350 will unlock newer markets for the company.

Royal Enfield’s global community recently celebrated the 11th edition of ‘One Ride 2022’. The main theme of this ride was focused on Responsible Travel. This 11th edition of ‘One Ride’ found its place across 50 countries. As part of this, motorcycling enthusiasts of all ages from diverse regions and social identities came together for a ride. In fact, this was India’s largest cause-led ride that witnessed participation from over 15,000 riders from across 500 cities. The theme for this year’s ride was – ‘One World | One Mission | One Ride’, which resonated perfectly with Royal Enfield’s social mission of encouraging Responsible Travel practices.

UNESCO and Royal Enfield together flagged off ‘The Great Himalayan Exploration’. This ride started at the iconic Victoria Memorial in Kolkata. As part of this, the partnership aims to contribute to documenting, preserving, and promoting the Intangible Cultural Heritage of India. Drawn from all over the country’s motorcycle-riding community, these riders spent two weeks documenting specific Intangible Cultural Heritage practices.

Royal Enfield GT Cup returned with season 2 with the Pro and Amateur series this year. A high adrenaline race weekend concluded at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, in September. The dates of the event were the 16th, 17th, and 18th of September.

In a unique first, Royal Enfield has announced the launch of its NFTs. This features ten winning artworks from its ‘Art Of Motorcycling’ (AOM) program. 10 exclusive NFTs of the winning designs from the last 2 seasons are also introduced as NFTs.

Royal Enfield celebrated their very first back-to-back championship victory at the DTRA (Dirt Track Riders Association) flat track in the ‘Twins Class’ category. They successfully secured the top two places on the podium.
