The Motoverse 2024, a festival celebrating Royal Enfield bikes and bikers, has finally come to an end. A crowd of 10,000 people attended this event, or we could say the Royal Enfield family of 10,000 people. Royal Enfield lovers have been witnessing this festival since 2011, and like every time, even this year, it was filled with thrills and fun. This 3-day celebration took place at Vagator, goa. Let’s take a walk through the flow of this event.
Unveiling and launches at Motoverse 2024 kept everyone on their toes. The highlight of this was the launch of ‘Goan classic 350’; a 350 cc bobber style motorcycle which was designed taking in the inspiration of 70s and 80s goan moto culture. RE also unveiled its new scrambler; ‘Scram 440’ which featured a 6-speed gearbox, LED headlamps, dual-purpose tyres, and switchable ABS with long travel suspension. Flat track on the Motoverse witnessed an entry of a modified motorsport bike ‘FT450’, which is an enhanced model of Guerilla 450. This bike offers impressive performance with agility and is now used at Royal Enfield’s Slide School for training purposes.
The cherry on the cake at this event was the performances by various famous artists. Musicians like Rajakumari, Ritviz, Raftaar and Tech Panda x Kenzani gave their heart-throbbing performances. Also, emerging talented artists from Spotify RADAR; Gini and Zephyrtone presented their pieces to audiences. Every year Motoverse organises a very famous act ‘Maut ka Kuan’ literally translates to ’well of death’ where in riders showcases thrilling stunts and performance.
Motoverse also represented artwork from 12 countries themed on humankind, technology and the chase for freedom on the motorcycle. Motoverse launched its newly crafted lager – ‘Motobew’ at this event in collaboration with the Goa brewing company. Also, a Vintage-themed fashion show was organised by Royal Enfield showcasing their line of apparel.
Royal Enfield arranged a platform, Motoreel; that allowed some admiring and inspirational personalities to share their adventure stories with the crowd. Dave & Laura Chamberlain – Globetrotters who have travelled around in more than 55 countries, Karthik Tupili – Guinness book record holder for motorcycling for the longest journey in India, and two thrilling and inspiring Indian Special Forces personalities: Major Vivek Jacob and Col Kaushal Kashyap who shared their experiences and adventures.
