Royal Enfield launches Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition at INR 4,25,000

Royal Enfield has launched a new iteration of the Super Meteor 650 at the Motoverse event in Goa. Dubbed as the Shotgun 650, what is revealed is a special Motoverse Edition which will be available in limited numbers. The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition has been priced at INR 4.25 lakh ex-showroom and only 25 of them would be built. Bookings are open for this special edition only till midnight of November 25th, 2023 and deliveries of these 25 units will begin in January 2024.

Additionally, this reveal also shows us what the Shotgun 650 would turn out to be, and these 25 lucky customers would be the first owners of the new Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 globally. This is a custom design colourway for the Motoverse Edition and Royal Enfield claims that such a colour and graphic scheme for the Shotgun 650 would never be made again. Launch of the standard series production Shotgun 650 would happen early next year.

What’s Special about Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition?

Based on the SG650 concept bike which was revealed at EICMA in 2021, this Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition has a hand painted body with neon details and different gradients. It features an aluminium headlamp nascelle, chopped fender design, bodywork with angular design and a neo-retro style overall. There are plenty of aluminium parts on the motorcycle with classic design and modern graphics to look up to date. The bike can easily transform into a retro single-seater or a dual-seater tourer, so it is a versatile option for all.

Other features include 10-spoke wheels, ABS, USD front forks, aluminium top yoke, wide handlebars, twin rear shock absorbers, hand-stitched black leather seat, custom exhaust system, gloss black engine covers and bespoke accessories which include bar end mirrors, LED black indicators, etc.

Extended warranty and RSA will be offered with this custom motorcycle.

Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition Engine

This special Shotgun 650 Motoverse Edition is based on the familiar 650cc platform. The all-blacked out 650-twin engine is shared with the Super Meteor 650. This Parallel twin, 4 stroke, SOHC, Air-Oil Cooled motor produces 47 PS of peak power and 52.3 Nm of peak torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. No traction control, but dual channel ABS on offer.
