Royal Enfield has launched the Shotgun 650 custom bike in the Indian market with a starting price tag of INR 3.59 lakh ex-showroom. The motorcycle comes with three variants and four colour ways. Royal Enfield positions the Shotgun 650 custom below the Super Meteor 650. However, the motorcycles share much of the underpinnings and the engine.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 Custom comes in three variants – Custom Shed, Custom Pro and Custom Special. The Custom Shed is offered with a Sheetmetal Grey colour option and comes with a price tag of INR 3.59 lakh ex-showroom. The Custom Pro variant comes with two colours – Green Drill and Plasma Blue.
The Shotgun 650 Custom Pro with Green Drill and Plasma Blue colour comes with a price tag of INR 3.70 lakh ex-showroom. The top-spec Custom Special variant comes with a Stencil White colour way. This variant demands a price of INR 3.73 lakh ex-showroom.
Powering the Royal Enfield 650 Custom is a 648cc parallel-twin cylinder oil-cooled engine. The engine makes around 47 PS of power and 52 Nm of torque. The Shotgun 650 also comes with a 6-speed gearbox. In the mechanical department, Royal Enfield equips the Shotgun 650 with Showa upside-down forks up on the front. The rear features twin coil-spring with oil dampers. The custom motorcycle also features a 18-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheel setup shod in chunky tyres. The brand also offers 320mm front and 300mm rear disc brakes on the Shotgun 650 motorcycle.
The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 comes with features such as full LED lighting and Tripper navigation system. The motorcycle also comes with Royal Enfield’s Wingman App that enables the rider to check on the bike’s live location and keep a watch on the fuel and engine oil level. In addition to this, the Wingman app also sends service reminders to the rider, helping in keeping up with important maintenance schedules.
