Royal Enfield has launched a new service initiative called ‘Service on Wheels’ is aimed to provide a brand authentic service at the customer’s doorstep with the aim of safety and convenience. The brand has deployed 800 Service on Wheel units across all Royal Enfield dealerships, under this new initiative.
The Service on Wheels fleet is armed with a fleet of service-ready motorcycles that have been built for the specific purpose and armed with all the tools and spare parts required to undertake 80% of all the service and repairs that are typically required on the Royal Enfield motorcycles.
Under the Service on Wheels initiative work jobs such as scheduled maintenance service, minor repairs, critical component testing, parts replacement, electrical diagnosis etc can be provided at the customer’s doorstep in a safe, customer-friendly manner protecting the customer from the notoriously infectious pandemic.
The Service on Wheels service is handled by professionally trained and authorised service technicians equipped with lubes and parts that will have a 12 months warranty giving the customers assurance of quality and peace of mind. Royal Enfield has rolled out a fleet of 26 Royal Enfield ‘Service on Wheels’ motorcycles in the city of Mumbai and a total of 92 such fully-equipped vehicles across all its authorized dealership outlets in Maharashtra.
The brand, in the last year, launched 600 new Studio Stores to expand its reach in tier II and tier III towns across the country and through this new mobile service initiative Royal Enfield customers will be able to get a quality service at their doorstep. In addition to the Service on Wheels, the Chennai-headquartered brand has also rolled out other customer-centric initiatives such as Contactless Purchase and Service Experience, easy Home Test Rides, pick-up and drop facilities and e-payment options for motorcycle purchase and service.
Royal Enfield is offering 3 attractive ownership packages under the ‘Ride Sure’ program, an Extended Warranty package of an additional 2 years or 20,000 km, over and above the standard warranty. The brand also provides Road Side Assistance Program, a 24×7 emergency support provided in the event of any mechanical or electrical breakdown and or traffic accident of the user’s motorcycle, anywhere on National highways, State highways or motorable roads within mainland India and at user’s Home and/or Office (Limited to 2 interventions per agreement year).
