The main importer of the Royal Enfield in the Italian market for the past five years, Valentino Motori has revealed a collection of ten special-edition Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. The special/celebratory edition Royal Enfield motorcycles come in an ultra limited number and features special colour liveries. The brand will produce six special colours for the Interceptor 650 and four special colours for the Interceptor 650. Furthermore, only 5 units of each are going to be produced.
The Special Edition Interceptor 650 will be offered in Matte Black, Matte Bronze and Black, Matte Military Green and Black, Matte Grey and Black, Grey and Black and Matte Green and Black. On the other hand, the Special-Edition Continental GT 650 features shades of Matte Black, Matte Red and Black, Matte Grey and Black and British Racing Green and Black. Both the motorcycles will comes with a special Valentino Motori sticker and limited-edition numbers out of five.
The Limited-Special-Edition Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 is priced EUR 8,450 that is roughly converted to INR 7.37 lakh and the Continental GT 650 is prices EUR 8,750 that converts to INR 7.64 lakh. The Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 can also be equipped with a set of Ohlins suspension and a Zard Slip-On exhaust for an additional cost of EUR 1,000 and EUR 600 respectively.
Mechanically, both the Special-Edition Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650 remain unchanged. The 650 Twins are powered by a Euro5/BS6 emission-compliant 648cc air/oil-cooled, 4-valve/cylinder parallel-twin, SOHC motor with twin throttle bodies, Bosch electronic fuel injection and engine management system that churns out 47 BHP of power and 52 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper assist clutch.
The Interceptor and the Continental GT features a rounded halogen headlamp on the front, twin-dial instruments, a relaxed riders triangle for highway touring on the Interceptor, clip-on style handlebars with a Cafe-Racer styling on the Continental GT, classic spoke wire rims and modern-classic overall features.
Unfortunately, the Valentino Motori edition Royal Enfield Twins are only available in the Italian market and deliveries on the motorcycles are available to commence in December 2020.
