Royal Enfield has added three distinctive, terrain-inspired shades of the Himalayan. Alongside this, we also see a few other range of upgrades. Thus, the adventure-touring motorcycle is now available in Glacier Blue, Sleet Black and Dune Brown. This is in addition to the existing colour shades of Gravel Grey, Pine Green and Granite Black. Royal Enfield first showcased these colours at Rider Mania 2022. The new Himalayan will also feature a neat debossed logo on the grill and side panels. Furthermore, the company has also added a USB charging port for on-the-go convenience.
Launched in 2016, the Royal Enfield Himalayan has been quite popular in the market. The sales and demand also make this motorcycle a top performer in Royal Enfield’s portfolio. Royal Enfield talks about the development and design of the Himalayan. The company took the experience from decades of riding in the mountains and thousands of kilometres traversing some of the most challenging terrains. The motorcycle has undoubtedly created a cult following in the segment. Given the presence of Royal Enfield in the country, the bike is accessible to a host of riders across India.
Himalayan represents a simple, versatile, go-anywhere motorcycle. Thus it has resonated well with millions of adventure enthusiasts and brought new riding enthusiasts into the Royal Enfield community. The reliable and consistent performance of the Himalayan, along with the introduction of these new terrain-inspired hues, will definitely make the motorcycle even more appealing.
The three new colourways of the Himalayan draw their inspiration from the epic terrain, vastness and grandeur of the Himalayas. The Glacier Blu represents the crystal-clear glacial lakes that adorn the Himalayas. Meanwhile, the Dune Brown depicts the cold Himalayan deserts of Hunder, situated in Nubra Valley, Ladakh. Royal Enfield has also brought back the popular Sleet pattern but in a new Black version known as the Sleet Black. This draws its inspiration from the glistening razor-sharp sleet on rock surfaces.
Royal Enfield confirmed that, starting today, the new motorcycle is available for booking and test rides across all Royal Enfield stores in India. Prices start at INR 2,15,900 (ex-showroom).
