Royal Enfield, the renowned motorcycle manufacturer, has always been synonymous with accessorizing its bikes to meet diverse rider needs. In a recent development, the company has launched a dedicated vertical, Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, aimed at offering practical and functional add-ons for its motorcycles. As part of this initiative, Royal Enfield has unveiled a range of accessories tailored for the new Himalayan 452, transforming it into a rally-ready powerhouse.
The Rally Himalayan 452 model has been equipped with a rally seat and rally back panels, enhancing both comfort and aesthetics. Enthusiasts interested in these upgrades can opt for these parts while booking their bikes through the Make It Yours (MIY) program. Additionally, Royal Enfield provides the option to further enhance the bike’s rally capabilities with accessories like a rally handlebar, knuckle guards, and a headlight grill.
Chennai-based Royal Enfield is also set to offer a sump guard and radiator cover, both crafted from high-quality components to ensure durability and performance. Notably, the company has introduced an Arrow exhaust, although it will not be available in the Indian market; instead, it will be offered in the European market.
While the pricing details for these accessories have not yet been revealed, it is anticipated that they might be slightly higher than standard parts due to the introduction of this new platform. Royal Enfield is committed to delivering top-notch quality parts to its customers. The official prices for these accessories are expected to be announced later this month, with sales slated to commence shortly after. Customers can anticipate the delivery of these accessories to begin in early January, marking an exciting new chapter for Royal Enfield enthusiasts.
Himalayan 452 gets a twin-spar steel tubular frame. The motorcycle uses a 43mm USD front fork with 200mm travel and a linkage type rear monoshock with 200mm travel. The front wheel will be equipped with a 320mm ventilated disc brake with a dual piston caliper and at the back the bike will feature a 270mm ventilated disc brake with a single piston caliper. Dual-channel ABS safety feature would be offered, and this would be switchable in both Eco & Performance ride modes.
Powering the all-new search Royal Enfield Himalayan is a 452cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC with 4-valves motor producing 40.02 PS of power @ 8000 RPM and 40 Nm of torque @ 5500 RPM matched to a 6-speed gearbox coupled with a slip & assist clutch.
Other details include the 1,510 mm wheelbase, 2,245 mm length and 852-900 mm width. In comparison, the current Himalayan 411 measures 2,190 mm long and 840 mm wide.
