Royal Enfield creates a World Record, but this is different

The oldest motorcycle brand, Royal Enfield, has accomplished yet another achievement by making its way into the Guinness Book of World Records. This comes courtesy of the brand receiving the highest live viewership during the launch of the all-new Classic 350 on YouTube. 19,564 viewers saw the broadcast on 1st September between 11.30 am and 12 noon. This viewership count broke the existing record of 13,779 viewers, verified by the Guinness World Records.

The brand has achieved the record thanks to its community’s love, support, and passion shown during the digital launch. The arrival of the all-new Classic 350 was celebrated by thousands of riders, auto enthusiasts, and brand aficionados.

Along with redefining the middleweight motorcycle segment in India, the new Classic 350 also carryforwards the legacy of post-war era British motorcycles. Royal Enfield Classic 350: Pricing details 

Starting at an introductory price of INR 1.84 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), The new Classic 350 is available in 5 variants. The variant options include Redditch, Halcyon, Signals, Dark, and Chrome, with the top-spec Chrome priced at INR 2.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Royal Enfield Classic 350: Powertrain & Features details 

Powering the new Classic 350 is a BS-6 compliant, 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine. The engine now sports a new chain-cam-driven valve distribution system and oil cooling channels. Thanks to this, the motor produces 20.2 Ps of peak power and 27 Nm of torque. It also sports a new 5-speed gearbox with a new clutch to provide refined shifts while riding.

In terms of equipment, the bike sports an analogue speedometer, digital multi-information display, retro-classic switchgear, and a USB charging point. The Classic 350 also features the ‘Royal Enfield Tripper’, a GPS navigation system powered by Google. The brand prioritizes safety by offering the bike with front and rear disc brakes featuring hydraulic stoppers and dual-channel ABS.
