Royal Enfield has launched cheaper offering of the Bullet 350 in the Indian market. The 2019 Bullet 350s range now starts at INR 1.12 lakh ex-showroom while the electric start variant has been priced at INR 1.27 lakh ex-showroom. The Bullet 350 standard asks for INR 1.21 lakh while the electric start model asks for INR 1.36 lakh ex-showroom. So effectively, the Bullet 350s is cheaper by INR 9,000.
Powering the motorcycle is a 346cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled motor producing 19.8 HP of power and 28 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox. Yes, Royal Enfield is working on new range of engines and bikes, but they are due for a launch in 2020 and have already started road testing in India. The new range of Royal Enfield motorcycles will be lighter, more powerful and more efficient.
The new Royal Enfield Bullet for 2019 can be ordered in Silver, Blue and Black paint options. The Bullet ES will get Black, Red and Blue options. Buller Standard ES can be purchased in Maroon and Silver paint schemes. Primarily, the new range of 2019 Bullet motorcycles get a black / dark theme with the engine block, crank case and rims finished in black.
The logo on the fuel tank has also been reworked as a decal replacing the 3D emblem and the Bullet 350 ES continues with the ‘Royal Enfield’ branding.
The Royal Enfield Bullet range of motorcycles are very popular thanks to the iconic style and engine character. The motorcycles still sell in good numbers and do not have a direct rival in the segment with retro appeal. Competition, if to be considered, includes the likes of Bajaj Avenger 220, Suzuki Intruder, Yamaha FZ25 and other such bikes in the price range.
The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 range comes with a single-channel ABS system only working on the front wheel even though both the wheels get stopping power from a single disc brake.
