At the EICMA 2021 show in Milan, Royal Enfield unveiled the 120th Anniversary Edition Interceptor 650 and the Continental GT 650. At the event, Royal Enfield revealed that the brand would launch the 120th Anniversary Edition in a limited production run of just 480 units. Furthermore, the brand announced that it would only distribute 120 units each for India, Europe, the Americas, and South-East Asia, making the bike ultra-exclusive. Now the Royal Enfield 120th Anniversary Edition Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 have arrived on Indian soil.
Royal Enfield has launched the new 120th Anniversary Edition Interceptor 650 at the price of INR 4.50 lakh on-road Chennai. On the other hand, the 120th Anniversary Edition Continental GT 650 comes with a sticker price of INR 4.80 lakh on-road price Chennai. Customers can check the on-road pricing of the entire range of Royal Enfield bikes using the online configurator.
The price includes Blacked Out Genuine Royal Enfield Accessories kit worth INR 18,500 MRP for the Interceptor 650 and INR 19,500 MRP for the Continental GT 650. Customers also get an extended warranty package for the 4th and 5th years over and above the 3 year OEM warranty, worth INR 4,700 MRP.
The brand offers a unique and rich black-chrome tank colour, using special chroming technology that has been developed at Royal Enfield’s original 1950’s manufacturing factory located at Thiruvottiyur, Chennai. The brand claims that it is using sustainable trivalent eco-friendly processes for the chroming process and also for the black-out parts.
The special edition model also comes with a handmade die-cast brass tank badge in collaboration with the renowned ‘Sirpi Senthil’ family, who has been multi-generation artisans. The family is from the temple town of Kumbakonam, Tamil Nadu and specialises in making numerous brass effigies. The bikes also come with a unique numbering and are hand-lettered with pinstripes.
Royal Enfield has announced that the brand will begin an online flash sale for the limited edition motorcycles on 6th December 2021 at 7 Pm.
