Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle bookings open for INR 1,000

Revolt Intellicorp unveiled the RV400 electric motorcycle in India and the bookings of the electric motorcycle have commenced for INR 1,000 with deliveries to begin from August 2019. The Revolt RV400 is expected to be priced around INR 1 lakh and the electric motorcycle is due to be launched by the end of this month.

The Revolt RV400 comes with advanced features like bike location with map guide, Real-time bike information – Battery, mode, range, etc., Bike start/stop via Bluetooth technology, User trips and statistics – total km, trip hours, etc., Changing motorcycle Sound and listening to their previews and controlling the volume, Real-time battery and ECU diagnostic, Check range in different modes, Ordering fresh battery at doorstep through the app, Finding a battery swapping station, Battery-Swap order history, Upload and store various motorcycle documents – registration copy, driving licence, etc. Payment Gateway integration through the app, Geofencing with a theft control feature, Sharing bike location, Over the Air (OTA) ECU updates, In-app user notifications – low battery percentage, battery removal, geofence breach, etc.

The RV400 comes with a LED headlight, LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, fully digital instruments console, hydraulically operated disc brakes on the front and rear wheels, upside-down telescopic fork on the front and monoshock on the rear, a belt and pulley final drive, alloy wheels, etc.

The powertrain specifications are scarce at the moment but the brand has revealed the range of the RV400 which is 156 km on a single charge and a top speed of 85 kmph. The battery can be recharged using a 15A home socket and a home charger and the electric bike employs a removable/portable battery. 

The Revolt RV400 will be available in two colour options Rebel Red and Cosmic Black. The booking is open only for customers in Delhi and Pune as of now, but soon cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Chennai to follow soon.
