Madhya Pradesh State Govt’s EV Plans
The state government aims to introduce a fresh set of EV policies to encourage faster EV adoption. Keeping in mind the upcoming Auto Expo, the government is also planning to invite various EV stakeholders. This will include manufacturers of electric run vehicles, commercial, earth movers and component makers to showcase their new products. As per reports, Madhya Pradesh is also looking to unveil a new EV policy this year, which would streamline the electric mobility sector better.
To encourage more EV participation, Madhya Pradesh has started an inter-city electric bus service from Bhopal to Indore. There are also new charging stations at Indore and Bhopal depots. Going ahead, the state government is looking to add 40 more buses to the route. Thus, a lot is happening in Madhya Pradesh to encourage faster EV adoption.
