Revolt Motorcycles has now clocked a total of 5 crore kilometres on Indian roads. This is quite a remarkable achievement given Revolt Motors is still a very new brand. The brand has its presence across 7 cities in the country. This includes Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Jaipur and Hyderabad. This 5 crore kilometre contributed to reducing up to 4,74,374 Kgs of CO2 emissions. This is when compared to the same number of kilometres done on ICE motorcycles. The reduction of 4,74,374 Kgs of CO2 emissions translates to planting over 20,578 trees, which is quite remarkable.
Revolt Motorcycles’ Quest For Green Mobility
The main aim of Revolt Motorcycle is to create an eco-friendly and smart network of automobiles in the country. Till now, the EV maker has successfully contributed greatly towards this cause. Out of all cities, Delhi made the most significant contribution, with a figure of 36.5% towards sustaining the environment. Second on the list was Pune, with a figure of 21 per cent. Pune also stood as the city with the most economical city in terms of range, averaging at around 108.08 km. Other cities with an average of 100+ km are Coimbatore, Delhi, Vizag, Chennai and Ahmedabad.
Revolt Motors New ‘My Rides’ Software Update
Recently Revolt Motors added a new feature in the MyRevolt app. Under the ‘My Rides’ option, the rider can now track their contribution towards protecting the environment. This works by highlighting the total fuel and carbon emissions saved during their ride. Riders can view the overall summary of the ride with the total distance travelled. The app also provides data on the fuel cost and CO2 emissions saved during their ride. Furthermore, riders can also check the equivalent number of trees being planted through the carbon savings. This is a great step in encouraging more riders to use their electric motorcycles and keep the carbon footprint under check.
