Revolt increases prices of RV300 & RV400 electric motorcycles

Electric mobility solutions provider, Revolt Intellicorp has hiked the prices of the Revolt RV 300 and RV 400 electric motorcycles in the Indian market. The company has increased its prices to up to INR 10,000. Both the RV 300 and RV 400 are offered in an EMI scheme and a one-time payment method and both have seen the price hike. The brand’s official website also mentions that the booking amount will be adjusted in the on-road price of the motorcycle after accounting for the insurance and road tax. 

The Revolt RV 300 now costs INR 94,999 from the price of INR 84,999 ex-showroom. The booking amount of the Revolt RV 300 which was earlier INR 2,199 sees a hike of INR 5,000 which makes the new booking amount INR 7,999. The RV 300 can be purchased on the 24-months and 36-months EMI scheme which now costs INR 4,384 for the 2-year tenure and INR 3,174 for the 3-year tenure. 

The Revolt RV 400 is now priced at INR 1.19 lakh ex-showroom up by INR 10,000. The initial booking amount which was INR 3,999 is now INR 7,999 showing INR 4,000 in price hike. Like the RV 300, the RV 400 can is also available with the 24 months and 36 month EMI option. The electric motorcycle can now be purchased at INR 6,075 for the 2 years tenure and INR 4,399 for the 3 years tenure. 

The Revolt electric motorcycles were launched in the Indian market in August last year. The RV 300 is powered by a 1.5kW hub-mounted motor with a 60V 2.7kWh Lithium-Ion battery pack that provides a claimed range of 180kms in the Eco Mode, 110kms in the Normal Mode and  80 km Sports Mode on a single charge. It takes 3 hours for the battery to achieve a 0-75% state of charge while 0-100% is achieved in 4.2 hours.

The Revolt RV 400 on the other hand, is powered by a 3kW mid-mounted electric motor coupled to a 72V 3.24 kWh Lithium-Ion battery pack that claims to deliver 150kms of range on the Eco Mode, 100kms in the Normal Mode, 80kms(Sports Mode) on a single charge. The battery can be recharged to 75% in 3 hours and 0-100% SOC requires 4.5 hours.
