One of India’s leading e-bike manufacturers, Revolt Motors, has unveiled its plans to expand to 5 new cities in India. The RattanIndia backed company has aimed to expand itself towards Kolkata, Coimbatore, Madurai, Vizag, and Vijayawada. Upon opening the new centres in these cities, Revolt Motors will have a total of 19 dealerships in the country. Spread across 9 states and 14 major cities, the experience centres provide customers with sales, spares, and after-sales service.
During the month of October, Revolt inaugurated new dealerships in three cities prior to the festive season in November. Thanks to an increased demand for EVs in India, Revolt Motors has successfully fulfilled customer demands. Revolt has also provided savings with regards to running costs due to the sharp increase in petrol prices.
The RV400 is Revolt Motors’ flagship e-bike that’s powered by a 3kW (Mid Drive) motor and a 3.24kWh lithium-ion battery. Overall, the bike produces 6.8 PS of power and 54 NM of torque with a top speed of 85 kph. Revolt Motors offers the bike loads of connectivity features that customers can control via the ‘MyRevolt’ app.
The included features are Geo-fencing, customizable sounds, complete bike diagnostics, riding data, and the history of distance travelled. The RV400 sports three colour options- Rebel Red, Cosmic Black, Mist Grey, and Eco, Normal, and Sport Modes. Customers can charge the RV400 from 0-75% in under 3 hours using the nearest Revolt Switch Station. These stations allow customers to switch out their bike’s battery pack, which Revolt claims to take around 60 seconds.
In terms of suspension, the bikes sports front Upside Down (USD) forks along with a fully-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Revolt offers the bike with 240mm, front and rear disc brakes, a wheelbase of 1350mm, and an 814mm seat height. With a ground clearance of 215mm, the RV400 sports a front LED headlamp along with LED tail lamps and indicators.
