Renault India is reportedly planning to overhaul the variants of the Triber. As per reports, Renault India will remove some important features and change the trims’ names. However, there are come inclusion of features as well. The major changes will happen to the ‘RXL’ trim. After this overhaul, the RXL variant will miss out on a host of features. Triber has been consistently selling in good numbers. It’s a 4-star NCAP crash test that is attracting a wide range of audiences looking to buy an MPV at an affordable rate. This overhaul of variants will help in countering the increasing production costs. As we understand, these new updates will be applicable starting from August.
Changes Across All The Trims Of Renault Triber
RXE
This variant receives a minor update. The side underbody sill is now body-coloured, which previously was black coloured.
RXL
RXL trim receives a host of features deletion. Of which the important two are as follows. The cooling function from the centre console and the rear AC and vents for 2nd and 3rd-row passengers are no longer a part of the RXL trim. The rear seat passenger now gets the power window feature, which is a great addition. Aesthetically also there are some alterations. The RXL trim now gets roof rails, body-coloured side body sill and chrome finished side air vent insert.
RXT
This trim will now miss out on cooling function from the glove box, B-pillar inner black tape, Eco-Scoring, driver side seatback pocket and cluster chrome surround. Additionally, the RXT trim will now get black-out ORVM and body-coloured side underbody sill.
RXZ
Similar to the RXT trim, this variant will now miss out on B-pillar inner black tape and Eco-Scoring. The door armrest will now be finished in plastic, downgraded from fabric. Though, there is some addition of features as well. This includes a new gear knob design, black-out ORVM and body-coloured side underbody sill.
Change In the Variant’s Name
With the changes as mentioned earlier, Renault will also change the names of the trims. Previously called RXL, RXT, and RXZ will now become RXE+, RXL+ and RXT+, respectively.
