Cars like these are unique propositions here in the Indian market, and customers are showing love for this value-for-money Renault Triber. Positioned as a compact-car with 7-seater layout, Renault has now announced that sales for the Triber have crossed the 10,000 unit mark. In October 2019, Renault has sold more than 11,516 cars out of which the maximum contribution comes from the Triber. The 10,000th Renault Triber was delivered from Benchmark Motors dealership in Mumbai. Renault claims to have a healthy booking figure further to this achievement for the Triber.

Renault Triber has achieved this feat of 10,000 sales in 2 months since launch. Thanks to the maximum passenger carrying capacity at this price, the Renault Triber is convincing customers easily. Also, the versatility of removing the 3rd row seats makes the Triber a super spacious 5-seater with ample luggage space. Renault calls the interiors of the Triber modular.

Prices for the Renault Triber start from INR 4.95 lakh and go all the way up to INR 6.53 lakh. There is no ideal competition for the Triber, but one can consider the Datsun Go+ to be floating in the same boat.

Powering the Triber is an Energy series 999cc, 3-cylinder, non-turbocharged petrol motor producing 72 PS of power @ 6250 RPM and 96 Nm of torque @ 3500 RPM. Renault currently only offers a 5-speed manual gearbox with the Triber and an AMT or CVT gearbox is expected soon.
